Hi,
I am not being patronizing but one of the most useful rules in life is not
to fix it if it aint broke and somehow the term Occam's razor comes to mind.
The stata list and those who volunteer to post solutions to others queries
and problems do so on their own volition. I have found no problems with the
way things are. One you set up the email to send as text to this particular
address the problem is solved. Also, for all I care the site could be hosted
at the university of audhagamandalam.. People here have helped me solve many
of my problems and also I have learnt so much by looking at others problems
and solutions. I am just grateful it is there

One of your problems is easy to solve. Googlegroups has a feature that
it can "mirror" other lists. I suggest that the responsible for
Statalist should check it up.
