When you are using GMail and are in Rich Text mode above the compose
area there is a line of formatting symbols B I U F... and at the end
of the line it says << Plain text. Clicking on the "<< Plain text"
flips you to that mode. When you are in Plain text mode it says Rich
formatting >> above the window. Perhaps a bit confusing for some but
it is a toggle link between the composing modes NOT the title of the
mode in which one is working.
