Joseph:
Is the command before -#delimit ;- a -replace- command? The ">" in
front seems to indicate that Stata thinks it is part of the previous
command. If this is the case than you either already have a #delimit ;
before and forgot the ; after the last command, or you used \\\ to
comment out the carrier return.
