I just wanted to point out that, for the specific thread referenced (where I 
provided the answer in my reply and also asked that they please use the 
built-in help system) that they didn't need to seach for "median test". 
They could have found the answer with just -search median- as well as many 
variants that mentioned median anywhere.  Hopefully, even a truly novice 
Stata user can come up with that search phrase if they have a question about 
medians.
