st: Ctrl backspace and Ctrl delete

Hi, Statalist, 

In my old version of Stata (ver 8.2), Ctrl backspace and Ctrl delete used 
to behave in a Microsoft Word fashion in the command window, so they 
delete one word at a time. But this is no longer possible in my new Stata 
(ver 9.0). Is there any way I can get Stata to remember its old tricks 
again?
