st: Long & Freese Book Review - CORRECTION
The latest edition of the Stata Journal includes a review of Long &
Freese's "Regression Models for Categorical Dependent Variables Using
Stata, Second Edition". Alas, due to some terribly sloppy work by
the reviewer (me) the review includes the line "Researchers may also
be interested in the several hurdle programs available from SSC that
were written by Joseph Hilbe after the book was released." These
programs were actually written well before the book was released. My
apologies to Joe! And again I recommend that those interested in
such models check out both the Long and Freese book and Joe Hilbe's
excellent programs.
