Dear Statalist members,
1. Are any of the various meta-analysis routines that have been developed by Stata users now built in to v9?
2. If not, how could I get a comprehensive list of meta-analysis routines and where to download them?
The Stata 9 reference manual says "Stata does not have a meta-analysis command. Stata users, however, have developed an excellent suite of commands for performing meta-analysis." The manual then lists a bunch of them, almost all of which are from STB. The manual recommends typing

search meta analysis

to find more.
