You don't need to look it up in the paper manual, you can look at the names in the matrix of
coeffecients:

*-----------begin example--------------
sysuse auto, clear
gen t = _n
tsset t
reg price l.mpg
matrix list e(b) *this will tell you how Stata calls the variable
di _b[L.mpg]
*------------end example---------------
