st: scheme s2color not found (was how to scatter)

Hi Yoshiro,
I had a very similar problem recently with rvfplot after a regression, and I 
think another variant has also been discussed on statalist because, although 
I couldn't find it again, it left a vague memory of the solution which 
worked for me. I suspect that your Stata needs updating.
Try -update all-. If Stata updates itself, just try your scatter command 
again.
If Stata claims it is already up to date, try -update- to see what version 
is actually installed.
The latest available is 20 Jan 2006 and -update all- should have brought it 
up to that date. If it shows an earlier date, then there is some reason 
why -update all- failed (a caching problem was suggested in an earlier 
statalist).
In that case, try -update executable, force- and follow the instructions.
