Greetings
We are experimenting with the web tool http://del.icio.us/ as a way to enhance the usability of our web site(s). We would like to invite you to have a look at our experimenting (and please remember it is not a final product, but just an experiment) and perhaps you could give us feedback by writing us at ATSstat at ucla.edu.
We have added a heading to http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/default.htm that reads "Experimental version of Links by Topic" which links to http://del.icio.us/atsstat . This is an attempt to provide a different view of our web page that allows you to filter/search the links based on "tags", either by the topic of the page, or the functional category of the page, or both. Currently this only has a small fraction of the links from our site, mainly seminar, learning module and FAQ pages. This is a possible replacement for the "links by topic" page.
We have added a link to http://statcomp.ats.ucla.edu/ that is a possible replacement for the Stat Computing Portal, see http://del.icio.us/statcomp. Again, this is just an experiment at this stage.
You can see more about these experiments at http://statcomp.ats.ucla.edu/bookmarks.htm.
All constructive comments, positive and negative, are most welcome at ATSstat at ucla.edu.
Best regards,
Michael Mitchell
