Updates to the SSC Archive between 19-30 December 2005 will be
limited, as during that period I will only have a dial-up connection
to the internet. Authors' submissions of new and changed content will
be incorporated into the archive as resources permit.
Version 9.x SSC Archive users are encouraged to try out the new
adoupdate command. Some of the reported issues with that command are
related to errors in the Archive's accounting of package distribution
dates which have now been corrected. These are not weaknesses of the
adoupdate command, but rather a reflection of GIGO.
