Wayne,

Michael Blasnik gave a presentation at the North American Users Group
meeting in July with the title "Mass producing appendices using Stata
and word processor mail merge". The PowerPoint file can be downloaded
from the Stata web site.

Depending on the complexity of the task it takes some time to set up
the mail merge but this is time well spent. I highly recommend that
you look at Michael's presentation. His brilliant approach sounds
just right for the report that you are working on.
