I don't know what exactly a pseudo-Gini coefficient is. However, I know that
the Gini coefficient is a special case of Somers' D, and can therefore be
estimated (with confidence limits) using the -somersd- package, downloadable
from SSC using the -ssc- command. The -somersd- package includes a
manual -somersd.pdf-, which contains an example of the estimation of a Gini
coefficient with confidence limits.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes
Roger

Hi colleagues,
Does someone know how to compute Pseudo Gini Coefficients for each
component (wages, public transfers, private transfers, etc.) of total
household income? Thanks.
