st: not converging

I'm using -xtpoisson-.  When I do not include the year effects, it  
converges fine.  When I include the year effects, it fails to  
converge (-xi: xtpoisson rp age i.year, fe i(id)-).  Any ideas why  
including the year dummies would cause Poisson MLE to have so much  
trouble?  Also, any suggestions?
