Also, to paste several lines in the Stata command window (under Windows), use
shift+insert.

Cameron,
You can just highlight the lines you want to run in the do-file editor and
click on the run button.

Subject: st: Running segments from a do-file
Is there a way to run just a part of a do-file without the whole lot? What I
typically do is /* */ out everything but the parts I want. What I'd really
like to do is cut and paste a few lines into the Stata command window and
run them. But it seems (at least in Windows) you can only run single-line
commands at a time in the command window.
Cameron.
