Dear Colleagues:
In transferring a SAS dataset to Stata, I found that it's not possible
to keep value labels for string variables in Stata. I guess that I
could encode the string variables and then create value labels, but
that seems a long way around the block to do this.
Anybody have a better idea or solution to this?
