Dear Statalisters:
I apply -tabstat- with -by-:
tabstat comptot, by(ind) stats(sum mean median p25 p75 min max) col(var) longstub
I also tried:
tabstat comptot, by(ind) stats(sum mean median p25 p75 min max) col(stat).
output of the latest command:
ind | sum mean p50 p25 p75 min max
---------+----------------------------------------------------------------------
1 | 3794 90.33333 83 41 128 4 217
2 | 2203 129.5882 109 62 165 1 350
3 | 3084 171.3333 147 106 257 26 338
4 | 947 26.30556 23.5 10.5 39.5 1 91
---------+----------------------------------------------------------------------
Total | 10028 88.74336 64 27 129 1 350
The variable ind represents four categories.
I would like to get the 4 categories in columns and the stats in rows.
None of the above codes provide the display I am looking for. (The four caterogies of ind are always displayed in rows).
Do you think it is possible to get it with tabstat? If not, is there another possibility?
Best regards
