Dear Statalisters,
Some you you may find this inapropriate on statalist, but I will risk
getting shot down here since I have thought about this for a while:
Why are there two L's in collinear? One makes more sense to me. Co (together; joint; jointly; mutually) + linear (or resembling a line / straight)
=colinearity
