To all:

I have a simple question that I hope is appropriate for the list. I am trying to transform marginal effect output is stata, either from Probit or OLS regression models, into standardized betas. I think I know how to do this using simple math calculations, for the marginal effects with continuous outcomes, but am not sure the formula applies to dichotomous outcome models, i.e., Probit models I'm using.
Dimitri, you may want to look at Long & Freese's -spost- commands, and in particular their -listcoef- and/or -prchange- commands. Their book, which you can get from the Stata bookstore, is great. I have brief discussions of their commands at

Long & Freese talk about various types of standardized coefficients, but I am not sure if they are the same thing you have in mind or not.
