When modeling a Fixed Effects Model (FEM) and/or a Random Effects Model (REM) Stata reports three different values for the R^2 statistics.
The R^2 overall is the standard R^2 from regressing Y on X, but I'm not sure about the interpretation of R^2 between and R^2 within. What one should infer from these last two statistics?

Thanks for you help.
