My impression is that this has not attracted Stata programmers
to date. Perhaps, like me, they have the prejudice that this
approach has been massively oversold. Be that as it may, and
I haven't checked, I also have the impression
that there is a great deal of code in R, so free alternatives exist.
But as the archaeologists say, absence of evidence is not
evidence of absence.
