Re: st: error msg: file... can not be opened

By auxillary files, I refer to log or graph files produced by your do file. 
Based on my experience, you are most likely to have these files open wile 
trying to overwrite them in your do file. With the very limited information 
you provided, it's pretty hard to give you much help without watching you 
actually doing it.
