Can anyone provide, or know a good source for, a non-technical definition of
bandwidth as it pertains to propensity scores? Thanks

As in horseshoes, hand grenades and computer dating services, how close is close?

With respect to a matching algorithm, how close must one's value of X be to another's value of X to consider them a potential match?

As in the use of bandwidth in the computation of kernel density estimates, the issue is the definition of neighborhood. Those within a certain bandwidth are in my neighborhood: e.g. those who live within half a mile. If I were to use a larger bw, it would imply a mile radius, etc.
