st: estat gof, group(10) table -- predicted probabilities not what I would expect

Hello,

I have been working under the (apparently incorrect) assumption that the
predicted probabilities reported with the table option of -estat gof- would
be the mean for the decile of predicted probabilities (hosmer lemeshow
groups).  The numbers reported appear to be the highest probability for each
group.  Can anybody explain why this makes sense, if it does?
