But the c:\ado\plus\ directory does not exist.
Sounds like you've never installed a user-written command before, e.g.
never used -findit- or -ssc- or -net-? (You're missing out on a lot if you
haven't!)
Anyway, just go ahead and create the directory. Or, perhaps Stata will do
it for you if you install a program, e.g. give a command like
ssc install egenmore
