st: movestay error

Dear Statalisters,

I keep getting the following error when I use movestay:
"Fitting initial values .....initial vector: copy option requires either a
matrix or a list of numbers
r(198);"

OR

Fitting initial values .....
initial:       log likelihood =     -<inf>  (could not be evaluated)
could not find feasible values
r(491);

A similar issue was posted sometime earlier

I have not been able to get in touch with the authors, as suggested.

Has anyone found a solution to this and if so, do you mind sharing it?
