The best way to do this would be acquire the software conversion
program called STATTRANSFER from Stata.
This program is quite cost-effective, and it is extremely easy to use.
It not only allows you to convert virtually any kind of data file into
stata format, but you can also convert other data files (e.g. excell to
SPSS, SPSS to SAS, etc.)
