Thanks to Kit Baum, a new package called -oaxaca- is available
from the SSC Archive.
-oaxaca- may be used to compute decompositions of outcome
differentials. Given the results from two models previously
estimated and stored, -oaxaca- computes various versions of the
so called Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition of the mean outcome
differential. An example is the decomposition of the gender wage
gap. -oaxaca- also provides standard errors for the computed
decomposition components. Stata 8 is required.
To install the package, type
. ssc install oaxaca
