I guess in this instance is the online help a better guide than the hard

Dear Statalist,
when I used - sts list - , I can access the survivor function via sts gen
surv=s. The manual reports that trick. Is there a similar trick to access
the standard errors? And why is sts gen surv=s work anyway?
