How does one terminate a -foreach- loop without executing any of it? The usual Ctrl-Break has no effect.

The situation is that I have typed some commands within a loop that I recognize are both in error and destructive. While I can
easily recreate the few changes since my last save, it seems much more sensible to avoid the error.
