More generally, if experience is a good 
guide, what is up on the website is a pretty
complete list of what has been added. 

Notwithstanding everyone's wish to learn more 
about what is coming, it should be clear 
that the announcement of the new release 
is just the beginning of the end of the release 
process. There will be all sorts of coding 
issues right up to the very moment of certification
for all. 

I doubt that StataCorp technical people 
have any spare time at present to comment beyond 
what's already been explained.
