st: Stataology or Statology?

This whole thread, and in particular my last message speculating on the 
nature of the data format in STata 9, made me think that what we are up to 
here is roughly analogous to the Kremlinology of the 1970s and 1980s . . . 
would we call this "Stataology" or "Statology" or something else entirely?
