Dear Statalist,
Thanks to Kit Baum, -dirlist- is now available for download from SSC.
The command retrieves directory information and saves it in return macros.
It has been tested on Mac OS X, Windows XP and one flavour of Unix (Linux),
but is reported not to work on Sun Solaris and some WIndows systems with
non-standard date and time settings. I will try to look into this.
To install type
. ssc install dirlist
Kind regards,
Morten
