Actually, depending on which platform you are using (I use both Mac and PC versions), you may have to run the "update executable" command twice. When I recently did this on my Mac (OS 10.3.8), the first execuable update bumped me from 8.0 to 8.1 and I needed to do i again to get from 8.1 to 8.2. Only then would it successfully update the ado files.
