st: Movestay and error mesage

Dear All:
when I use the "movestay" command, I receive the following error message:
"Fitting initial values .....initial vector: copy option requires either a matrix or a list of numbers
r(198);"
Is this is a common message? What does it mean? For illustration purposes, I slightly revised the example in the help section:
The estimation of
movestay lmo_wage edu13, select(private = m_s1)
works perfectly.
The error message occurs in
movestay lmo_wage edu13, select(private = job_hold)
Do you know of any explanation for this? How can I fix it?
Thank you very much
Jorg
