Naturally the Editors of the Stata Journal
are most pleased whenever people find
items in the journal interesting or useful.
However, this is a question for StataCorp
as publisher, not for Joe Newton or myself as Editors.
Unless and until they make exceptions, the
Stata Journal remains a journal obtainable
by subscription only.
After all, you could say the same thing about
each issue of the Journal, the books published
by Stata Press, the manual contents (given that
many users do not purchase the complete manual
set), etc.
