st: xtprobit with unbalanced panels

Dear all,

I am estimating an xtprobit model with an unbalanced
panel. The result shows that there are no random
effects. Is it likely that this result is due to the
fact that the panel is unbalanced? Is it appropriate
to use xtprobit for unbalanced panels?
