st: xi3 and deviation coding

HI all,

I'd like to use deviation coding and to have all the coefficients for each
categorical variable sum to zero.
Right now I'm using xi3 deviation & lincom
xi3: regress y e.x1 e.x2
Lincom -_Ix1_2-_Ix1_3-_Ix1_4 (for x1=1)
Lincom -_Ix2_2-_Ix2_3-_Ix2_4 (for x2=1)
Lincom _cons+_Ix1+...._Ix2_4 for the new constant

Is it a more convenient way to achieve this?
