Nick Cox's -egenmore- package has been updated to include the egen
function sum0(), which places the sum of its argument in the result
variable in the absence of missing data in the argument. With a by()
specification, for instance, this implies that the result will be
non-missing for only those individuals with non-missing data. egenmore
can be accessed via ssc install egenmore [,replace].
