st: sample size for country level panel data using xtreg

I am anlayzing country level data using xtreg. I have about 20 countries 
(mostly oecd countries) and 3 time periods, and due to missing values, 
sometimes, the sample size even reduces to 45. I am not sure if such panel 
data analysis is robust and any test that I can do about it?  Thanks a lot.
