I've not worked with smcl but -help smcl- gives the following:
The {char} directive
The {char} directive -- synonym {c} -- allows the output of any
ASCII
character. For instance, {c 106} is equivalent to typing the letter
j,
because ASCII code 106 is defined as the letter j.
So you might try {c 12}, with curly braces.

Subject: st: Page breaks in .smcl logs
Does anybody know how to force a page break in a .smcl log file. I've
tried using
-display =char(12)-
but that doesn't work. I can't find anything in the manuals or the FAQs
about it.
Thanks for any help.
