st: two way histogram with two or more variables

Hi,

I  use twoway (histogram x2001) (histogram x2002) (histogram x22003)...to
show the differences in distribution of x over time.
Unfortunately the bars overlap so you can not see all of them at once. Can
anyone suggest any options or maybe a different graph command
that allows to compare distributions of x over time. I would prefer bar
graphs since the variable is sort of descrete one.
