Yesterday John Jiang ([email protected]) made a reference to work by Deon Filmer and
Michael Lokshin. They have a number for Stata programs for poverty analysis
which may be of interest to the Stata community.
"The Poverty Analysis Toolkit includes four programs for dynamic poverty analysis.
The first two programs GIDECOMPOSITION and SEDECOMPOSITION perform growth-
inequality and sectoral decompositions of poverty between two periods of time.
Programs GICURVE and POV_ROBUST produce graphs. The first program produces the growth
incidence curve and the second program produces various graphs for stochastic
dominance analysis."
In addition, -probitiv- and -movestay- are available (and -movestay-
is also in SJ-4-3).
