Sorry, my comment was misleading. What I meant was fixing the labels 
(not the titles).  I referred to the example of Phillipe:
.sysuse auto
.hist foreign, xlabel(0 "Domestic" 1 `""Foreign" "(Europe/Japan)""')
.discrete

The label than looks as follows:
