The 1st ANZ Stata Users meeting was held yesterday (Sunday) in Adelaide.
54 people attended and heard 12 presentations (including one from Bobby
Gutierrez). Alan Riley gave an informative report to users, and without
giving too much away, hinted at some of the directions that Stata would be
taking.
A dozen of us repaired to a local restaurant for dinner afterwards, and,
not necessarily influenced by some rather good Australian red, agreed that
our first meeting was a pretty good show.
We will be putting photos and downloads on the web in due course.
