When I reported this close to a year ago, Stata tech support replied
that this sometimes happens with certain (older?) HP printers. (I use an
old but serviceable HPIIID.) I figured it was time to upgrade, but then
found by accident if you print the Word document using Fineprint, the
Windows version of 4Print, that it prints fine. This was reported to
Stata Corp. So, I guess your answer is switch or upgrade printers, or
find software like Fineprint that corrects the problem.

Hi - can someone please tell me how to get a Stata 8 graph to come out
in
black and white when I paste it into a MS Word document and print it.
When
I put options into the graph command in Stata, such as
....,graphregion(fcolor(white)) mcolor(black)
it comes out looking fine in both Stata and the Word document on the
monitor. Then when I print it the colors come out reversed.

Thanks
