Thanks to Kit Baum, the program -lmoments-
in the package of the same name has now been
updated on SSC. I tinkered with various
things, most importantly the output display
for summary measures computed for groups.
-lmoments- offers alternatives to the standard
moment-based statistics.
The help file contains some references.
