Thanks to Kit Baum, a new version of the -eclplot- package is now available
on SSC. In Stata, type
ssc inst eclplot
to install it.
The -eclplot- package (short for "Estimates and Confidence Limits PLOT") is
described as below on my website. The new version has a new dialog, which
should be easier to use than the old dialog. This is because -eclplot-
gives the user the choice of 8 range plot types (corresponding to the 8
range plot types of -graph twoway-), and these have distinct overlapping
sets of available "Confidence limits" options, and the -eclplot- dialog now
enables the options available under the currently selected range plot type
and disables the rest.
I would like to thank James Hassell for his very helpful dialog program
examples (which he gave on Statalist in response to my queries), and to
thank all at StataCorp for providing and documenting their dialog language.
Best wishes
Roger

TITLE
eclplot: Horizontal and vertical confidence interval plots
DESCRIPTION/AUTHOR(S)
eclplot creates a plot of estimates with lower and upper confidence
limits
on one axis against another numeric variable on the other axis. The
estimates
and lower and upper confidence limits are stored in three variables,
in a
data set with one observation per confidence interval to be plotted.
Data
sets with such variables may be created manually (using a spreadsheet),
or using the parmest package, or using statsby or postfile in
official Stata.
The user has a choice of plotting the confidence intervals
horizontally or
vertically, and a choice of range plot styles for the confidence
intervals,
and may also overlay the confidence interval plot with other plots
using the
plot option. The user may use eclplot either as a command or using a
dialog.
