Hi Susan
I believe the Kruskal-Wallis equality of populations rank test is what
you're looking for. You can invoke it in Stata using the -kwallis- command.
Type .whelp kwallis for detailed info

Subject: st: Re: Non-parametric anova

I have to carry out a two-way non-parametric anova and was hoping to use
Friedman's method. Unfortunately this only allows one result for each
factor1*factor2 combination whereas I have 4 values. Is there any Stata-way
around this. I am using Stata 8.
Thanks,
Susan
