st: weights in clogit/xtlogit, fe

I would like to apply non-integer weights to the cross-sectional 
units in xtlogit, fe which is the same as clogit.  clogit allows for 
fweights and iweights.  The manual  entry for clogit is not helpful 
wrt how the weights are applied (eg. the formulas).

1) does anyone know how the iweights are applied?

2) does anyone have a reference for a discussion of how to apply 
simple sampling weights (its not a complex survey design)  in clogit?
